West Bengal Civil Society Support Program (WBCSSP)

A part of Amanat Foundation’s endeavour in community empowerment is the programme ‘West Bengal Civil Society Support Programme’ (WBCSSP) in partnership with the State government towards capacity building, state level advocacy, district level financial management workshops etc., among economically vulnerable communities.

The main activities covered under this scheme is to support CSOs and CBOs in implementing government policies. AFT played the role of facilitator and mobilizer in this scheme in order to provide better scope of work and quality services for the underprivileged. AFT’s role focused essentially on developing pro-poor policies through the WBCSSP Scheme.
